Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
A hospital in southern Arizona is in need of ongoing interventional radiologist coverage starting May 2017 for two weeks and some weekends per month. The schedule will be Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with evening call and 24 hour call on the weekends. The radiologist must be board certified and fellowship trained in interventional radiology, CAQ'ed is preferred but not required. An AZ license and DEA are required. The radiologist must be able to perform TIPS, radiofrequency ablation of tumors, chemoembolization, Y90 ablation, carotid stenting, varicose vein ablation. The average daily volume of procedures is 8 per day. When not performing procedures, the expectation is the radiologist will reading plain film, cat scans, ultrasounds, and MR out of the cue. The PACS is E Unity and the voice recognition system is Powerscribe 360.
