Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
A hospital in the greater Phoenix area is in need of interventional radiologist coverage for 6/19/17 to 6/25/17 and from the beginning of July 2017 ongoing until a hire is made. This position is ongoing, every week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with evening call. The weekends will require 24/7 call coverage and there is a possibility of working onsite Saturdays from 8am to noon. One interventional radiologist will be covering two hospitals with an average volume of 14 procedures per day. Another radiologist will cover one facility that sees a volume of 10 procedures per day. A third radiologists will act as a floater between the two facilities and to cover time off. This is a 100% interventional position. The radiologist must have a current AZ license, DEA, and ACLS. Full procedure list to be provided upon request.
An interventional radiologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and techniques to diagnose and treat patients for various conditions.
