Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens

A community hospital in east Texas is in need of a fellowship trained interventional radiologist who is comfortable performing the full gamut of interventional work (not including neuro interventional) to perform 8 to 10 procedures per day on average. If there is any downtime between procedures the radiologist will be expected to read diagnostic studies plain film, cat scan, and ultrasound. The position starts 3/27 and help is needed every other week on an ongoing basis until a permanent hire is made. The hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and there may be some evening or weekend call.

An interventional radiologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and techniques to diagnose and treat patients for various conditions.
