Interventional Radiologist - Modesto, CA 95355
• Must be board certified in Radiology (board eligible is ok but need to be within 5 years of training)
• Schedule is 8-5 M-F, but might be asked to do some readings on Sat or Sun at the hospital if possible
• Assignment is for at least 3 months.
• Must be able to work at least 1 week a month
• General radiology
• Must be able to do the complete range of breast imaging (requires MQSA certification)
• CA fluoroscopy license required
• No call
• Moderate reading list
• Credentialing is 60-90 days from the date that the completed application is submitted
• 11 other Radiologists in the department
• They don’t need to perform needle localizations and stereotactic biopsies, but we would pick someone who perform these procedures over someone who does not if it comes to two equally qualified radiologists.
• Depending on the case mix, we average 43 RVU per day per radiologist.
• We generate 40+ MRI (3 magnets) and 40+ Ultrasound each day, but it’s not one person's responsibility to read them all.
