Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
A trauma center in the central valley of California is in need of interventional radiologist coverage for the weekends of March 17th , March 31st, and May 5th in additional to the week of April 10-14. The group is looking for a current CA licensed radiologist preferably CAQ'ed in interventional. During the week it is a team environment Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and evening call if there is an emergent procedure. The weekend call starts at 5pm Friday and ends 8am on Monday and cannot end sooner. The Monday to Friday weekday volume is 8-12 cases per day on average and the weekend volume is 3-4 cases per day. The current workflow requires interventional radiologists to read plain films every Saturday and Sunday which usually takes at least 3 hours, the sites sees about 100 plain films per weekend day. The most common procedures are permacaths, fistulagrams/declots, biopsies/drainages, paras/thoras, kyphoplasties, elective/emergent arterial procedures, arterial/venous thrombolysi
