Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
A radiology group in western Virginia is in need of a fellowship trained interventional radiologist to cover the dates of 11/28 - 12/2 including evening call. The job is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. This is a site where it is 80% diagnostic work and 20% interventional work, but the site needs and interventional radiologist to handle arterial work in additional to biopsies and drainages. When not performing procedures the radiologist will read plain film, ultrasound, and cat scans. They are welcome to read all plain film if they desire. MRI and mammography are not required.
An interventional radiologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and techniques to diagnose and treat patients for various conditions.
