Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
Radiology group in the Central Valley is looking for ongoing help in interventional radiology as soon as possible. The immediate weeks that need to be covered are 10/10, 10/17, 10/31, 11/7, 11/14, and 11/21 all weeks are Monday to Friday and any weekends the radiologist can help with as well. They would like a board certified interventional radiologist. The average volume of procedures is 4 to 8 per day in the outpatient center and 6 in the hospital. If the radiologist is not busy they may read some studies between cases, if time allows. The hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, there may be some weekends or nightly call. The position is expected to last an average of 2 months. The PACS system is DR systems and the voice recognition is Dragon.
An interventional radiologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and techniques to diagnose and treat patients for various conditions.
