PMG is currently seeking an experienced Radiologist to provide outpatient diagnostic radiology as well as performing image guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including, but not limited to: renal artery stenosis, PAD Treatments, sclerotherapy, endovenous laser treatment, angiogram/angioplasty and minimally invasive vein ablation treatments.
Position Description
Macon, Georgia lies near the geographic center of the state, approximately 85 miles south of Atlanta, hence the city's nickname "the Heart of Georgia." Settled near the fall line of the Ocmulgee River, Macon is the county seat of Bibb County and had a 2014 estimated population of 153,691. The city has several institutions of higher education, as well as numerous museums and tourism sites. The area is served by the Middle Georgia Regional Airport and the Herbert Smart Downtown Airport. Macon houses the Southeast's largest collection of African-American art, history, and culture. Macon has over 300,000 Yoshino Cherry Blossom trees, and when they are in full bloom, it’s magical. The average peak bloom period is typically the third week of March and lasts roughly 10 days. Luckily for Macon, our Cherry Blossom trees are located throughout the city.
