50+ year established private practice of 8 (plus a PA) seeks another fellowship trained IR. This is a high volume private practice. The group works primarily out of a 363 bed, Level 2 Trauma Center as well as an outpatient center, private vascular interventional center and 110 bed regional hospital. State of the art technology – fully integrated PACS. Nighthawk is in place from 8pm – 8am.
IR – must be proficient in all aspects of IR - an interest in Interventional oncology is a plus. In addition to IR you will do general radiology (nuclear med and mammo are not needed). On the IR service there is one vascular IR FT, one PT, one nonvascular IR and 2 PA's
Call pool is dedicated IR. Basically call from home; rarely called in during the week. On weekends if on call work 8am-10am then go home unless procedure. Usually may be called back once a day for central line etc Vascular work on call extremely rare.
No buy in partnership after 1st year. Receive 375k+ salary depending on experience and training, full benefits including 10-12 weeks paid time off (same as partners), full contributions into pension plan, family health, dental, vision, malpractice, 10k prescription/deductible, relocation.
