Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A solo interventional radiologist is in need of hospital coverage from 8am to 5pm from Wednesday 9/30 to Friday 10/2. The radiologist will be on call after hours, but there has never been a weeknight call in. In addition, the radiologist will need to do weekend call coverage starting Friday evening on 10/2 on Sunday 10/4. If the radiologist lives about an hour away and do call from their house. Will only need to cover interventional call if a procedure is needed at this community hospital. This radiologist is going to intentionally arrange it so that there aren't any complex procedures on those days in terms of scheduled outpatients, and almost all inpatient add-on procedures are very routine so it should be easy bread and butter cases. The average number of procedures will be 6 per day. The most common procedures will be arthrograms, thoracentesis, paracentesis, central lines, chest port, and lumbar punctures. Unlikely but possible lung/liver/thyroid biopsy, and abscess.
