URGENT NEED for a Diagnostic Radiology physician to work at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX
Board Certified Diagnostic Radiology:
• Position Starts September 29, 2014 through September 28, 2015 (Possible extension beyond that date)
• Any state license
• No call or weekends are required
• 40 hour work week
• Monday – Friday
• 7:30 am – 4:30 pm
Qualifications
The Physician shall meet the following education requirements: The Physician must be a Doctor of Medicine or a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine who has completed an internship and residency in an accredited US Diagnostic Radiology Training Program; completed a minimum of one year post-residency fellowship training, preferably in body imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, women’s imaging, or MRI; and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology.
The physician shall meet the following experience requirements: Shall have experience in performing the full scope of general diagnostic radiology to include performance of examinations/procedures and interpretation of same in the areas of plain Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Ultrasonography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computerized Tomography, Nuclear Medicine and image guided procedures including biopsies and diagnostic and therapeutic arthrograms and injections through on site.
From any of the above examination/procedure combinations, shall be able to meet a minimum of 10,000-12,500 diagnostic examination/procedures per year. Must have experience in performing the full scope of general diagnostic radiology to include performance of examinations/procedures and interpretation of same in the area of plain Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Mammography, Ultrasonography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Computerized Tomography and Nuclear Medicine through on site.
