Pulmonologist-Critical Care - Physician - (Pulmonology - CCU) Locum Tenens
A Western Pennsylvania based medical facility is currently seeking a Pulmonologist /Pulmonary-CC to assist with locum tenens coverage starting this October. Longer term candidates with ongoing availability are preferred, but please reply with any availability. Candidates should be experienced with all typical Pulmonary/Critical Care procedures. Interested candidates should contact a Staff Care consultant for additional information regarding this and other exciting opportunities.

A pulmonary disease physician, also known as a pulmonologist, (locum tenens) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases. In a critical care setting, these physicians work to stabilize and treat acute lung illnesses and injuries. A pulmonologist performs a wide variety of tests to assess and diagnose the nature of lung-related health problems, conducting physical examinations and utilizing imaging technology to make their diagnoses. In a critical care case where immediate surgery may be necessary, pulmonologists work alongside surgeons to expeditiously treat patients.
