Pulmonologist-Critical Care - Physician - (Pulmonology - CCU) Locum Tenens
Critical Care or Pulmonary Critical Care Physician needed for August ongoing opportunity in beautiful Washington location. Night shifts 7 PM - 7 AM; Please contact Staff Care for additional details.
A pulmonary disease physician, also known as a pulmonologist, (locum tenens) focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases. In a critical care setting, these physicians work to stabilize and treat acute lung illnesses and injuries. A pulmonologist performs a wide variety of tests to assess and diagnose the nature of lung-related health problems, conducting physical examinations and utilizing imaging technology to make their diagnoses. In a critical care case where immediate surgery may be necessary, pulmonologists work alongside surgeons to expeditiously treat patients.
