  • Schedule: Friday 5p - Monday 7a (8hr shifts Sat/Sun and on call for the rest) - need for 3 weekends a month
  • Patient Volume: 10-15 inpatient census
  • Patient Ages: 16+
  • IP/OP: IP only
  • Call: Yes - night call (ave 2-3 phone calls/night and 1 consult/night)
  • Support Staff: Hospitalists will do after hours admissions
  • Responsibilities (ICU, Vents, OB, etc): Will cover 12 bed ICU and act as intensivist, do pulmonary consults on the floors and provide consults on the Continuing Care floor. Required to do A&C lines, Bronchoscopes, vent management, coronary ICU, EKG interpretation, intubations, medical ICU, thoracentesis and chronic ventilator.

  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
  • DEA / CSR Requirements: Yes
  • Medicare / Medicaid Requirements: Yes
  • Certification Requirements (BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, etc.) ACLS
  • Additional Info: Looking for weekend coverage for 3 weekends/month. Varies from month to month.
