Psychologist - (Psychology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
APA approved Psychologist to provide coverage as soon as credentialed for 6 months with the option to extend. *Any state license. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. Perform patient evaluations, examinations, general history, prescribing medications, diagnosis and treatment. See on average 11-13 patients per day. Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and other Psychologists and Social Workers. Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support.
Generally speaking, a psychologist(locum tenens) focuses on the study of behavior, conducting laboratory experiments, recording and analyzing case histories, and working to explain the reactions of people to objects, people and environments. These scientists often use their insights to help patients adjust to the issues that they perceive as threatening, frightening or anxiety-producing in life. Psychology is a field that is rife with room for specialization, such is the case with fields like experimental and developmental psychology.

The specific landmark is the historical spring which provided life sustaining water for the Indians, as well as the wagon trains which traveled across the arid West Texas country.
