A State Hospital in Connecticut needs Psychiatrists for locums assignments on either Forensic or Addiction Units.
We offer Monday-Friday assignments (no on-call) for interested psychiatrists.
We offer great hourly rates, housing and travel (if needed), malpractice, direct deposit and weekly pay.
The facility is a coed substance abuse rehabilitation. All referred psychiatrists need to be board eligible, board certified preferred, basic computer skills (email, Word) and good communication and interpersonal skills. The hospital works within an interdisciplinary team approach: psychologists, social workers, nurses and nursing staff, rehabilitation staff, substance abuse counselors, etc. Hospital employed primary care providers are assigned to each unit to assist the psychiatrists with medical issues and to complete all history and physical assessments.
