Psychiatrist General – Northwest Maine
Exceptional opportunity for BC/BE Psychiatrist. This full time salaried position in a traditional practice includes both in patient and outpatient services. This is primarily an outpatient opportunity with call rotation with one other psychiatrist. Some inpatient coverage is required. This is a 49 bed hospital with a 7 bed child unit, and a 7 bed adult unit. The average length if stay is 14 days, with a census of 8.5 beds. The child unit usually handles children 6 years of age and above. You will be working with 1 adult/child psychiatrist, ! Mental health PA, and 1 mental health NP. Office hours are 8 AM – 5 PM 5 days a week. Outpatient load is 16 patients per day. Visa physicians are urged to respond.
Base pay is $225K - $265K based on experience. Benefits include 25 days PTO, licensing fees, CME, professional dues and subscriptions. An annuity plan is also included. Last but not least, is an allowance to aid in the costs associated with relocation! The hospital will provide free hospital housing for the first three months as well!
