Adult Inpatient Psychiatrist
200-bed inpatient hospital divided into 22-bed units, including new co-occurring disorders unit. Additional inpatient beds in area hospitals where they now manage psychiatry unit.
Joining a medical staff of 73 physicians (39 inpatient psychiatrists; 29 outpatient psychiatrists; 4 general medicine; 1 pharmD)
Weekday rounding on 11-12 patients with possible admission to unit 8:00AM-5:00PM.
Night call (every night) 5:00PM-8:00AM covers all adult beds (164 beds) paid out at $500 per night. Telephone orders unless seclusion/restraint which requires psychiatrist to come in. Two nights of call per month, more if desired.
Weekend rounding 8:00AM-5:00PM on assigned unit Saturday and Sunday paid out at $1,100 per day. One weekend of coverage per month, more if desired.
Practice fees including licensing and credentialing fees.
Professional growth benefit for up to $1,500 annually.
Board certification fees as approved.
Payment of moving expenses up to $10,000 (under IRS guidelines).
Malpractice insurance for employed practice.

Paid Time Off Benefit for up to 39 days which includes vacation days, personal days, sick days, 5 conference days, and 6 recognized holidays.

Salary DOE but in $240,000/year range.
