General Psychiatrist near Colorado Springs, CO

Behavioral Health Services client is a private behavioral health facility offering a wide range of general and specialty behavioral health services.
Programs include general adult inpatient, specialty services for military personnel and veterans and a residential program for child/adolescent patients with reactive attachment disorder.
The new physician will be employed with the hospital providing care to patients in our Adult Inpatient Program.
There is reasonable shared call for weeknight and weekend coverage respectful of the need for professional/personal life balance.

Patient populations include individuals with general psychiatric, substance abuse and other specialty treatment issues.
POSITION DUTIES:
of the position will be daily clinical care of assigned patients including admission evaluations, follow-up, treatment team leadership and interaction with clinical and other physician staff.
Call is limited for week night and weekends.

Medical Director – Psychiatrist: Salt Lake City

Outstanding Leadership Opportunity at Behavioral Health in Salt Lake City is recruiting a new Medical Director. The Medical Director Position is a highly visible and important position at center encompassing multiple clinical/administrative responsibilities.
POSITION DUTIES:
•Administrative/clinical management of the hospital
•Quality improvement initiatives and risk management
•Utilization of services management
•Provide clinical administrative supervision to other physicians and clinical staff.
•Program development
•Participation in liaison activities with community referral sources and managed care companies
•Direct clinical care duties include initial evaluations and assessments, treatment team leadership and management of an assigned patient caseload.

Ideal candidates will be Board Certified / eligible in General Psychiatry and or subspecialty with particular interest and preference for treatment of patients in hospital based settings of inpatient, partial and intensive outpatient treatment.
