The opportunity to provide clinical care to diverse patient populations including U.S. military personnel and veterans.
Poplar Springs Hospital in Petersburg, VA is recruiting a General Psychiatrist. The hospital is experience new growth in a few Psychiatry subspecialty programs. The physician will be employed fulltime with the hospital. Physician duties will include new admission evaluations, treatment team leadership and daily care patients in inpatient and partial programs. The caseload will consist of mostly Adult patients but the Physician may be required to see some Adolescent patients as well. The schedule is for fulltime Monday � Friday. Compensation will include salary, benefits and more. Physicians at Poplar Springs practice in a collegial environment with many clinical and administrative support services.

We provide a full continuum of behavioral health care services offering specialized treatment for adults and adolescents aged 11-17 with general psychiatric and specialty treatment issues. Poplar Springs' services have recently expanded to include programs for active and non-active Military personnel as well as woman�s trauma.
