Dallas - Psychiatry Practice Options - Independent Contractor
Timberlawn Mental Health System in Dallas is recruiting for the following practice opportunities:
Weekend Psychiatry - Admissions
Weekend psychiatrists work Friday evening through Sunday evening, providing admissions functions for new patients. Additionally, on-call support is provided for existing patients. Physician’s quarters are provided, as the psychiatrist resides on campus for the duration of the weekend.
Weekend Psychiatry - Patient Rounds
The weekend rounding psychiatrist provides patient medication checks and discharge orders for existing patients. Weekend psychiatrists provide services Saturday and Sunday.
Weeknight Psychiatry - Admissions
Partial evening and Overnight psychiatrist shifts are available Sunday – Thursday. Psychiatrists provide admissions functions for new patients from the evening through the next day. Additionally, on-call support is provided for existing patients. Flexible hours.
Compensation will be paid on an independent contractor rate plan for all services and will be by shift and/or hourly depending on coverage provided. Candidates should be BE/BC in General or any subspecialty area of Psychiatry.
