Psychiatrist - (Psych) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Inpatient full time Psychiatrist is needed in New Hampshire for an immediate and ongoing opportunity. Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 am-5 pm, no weekends and no call. The physician will see all types of patients; perform evaluations, consults and medication management. Call Staff Care today if you would like to hear more about this opportunity.
A psychiatrist (locum tenens) is a mental health professional, who focuses on preventing, diagnosing, and treating mental illness. After completing medical school, a psychiatrist must also complete a one year internship and three additional years of specialized training as a psychiatric resident. In the treatment of mental illness, a psychiatrist is licensed to prescribe medication. Some conditions requiring medication include; depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. A psychiatrist evaluates patients with mental illness and, in cases where medication is subscribed, often practices medication management.
Required Qualifications
Active New Hampshire state license
Experienced in inpatient treating all types of cases
Preferred Qualifications
Board certified candidates preferred
