Opportunity:
As the incoming Psychiatrist, you'll join a successful, respected inpatient program that is dedicated to their medical team and intent on developing close working relationships with their hospital staff and administration. You'll work days in a 100% inpatient setting providing psychiatric care to hospitalized patients. The primary patient population is adult and geriatric with diverse psychiatric and dual diagnoses.
Responsibilities include:
- evaluations and orders at the time of admission
- treatment planning and treatment team leadership
- daily care of assigned patients
- oversee and participate in rounds
- provide consultations
- pre and post-op evaluations and counseling
- coordinate care and collaborate with Specialists and Case Managers
- provide discharge summaries and referrals
- schedule patient follow-up
- other psychiatric duties as necessary
Compensation:
In return for your training and experience, this opportunity is offering a MGMA competitive compensation package with a base salary and very lucrative bonus incentives.
