Psychiatrist Opportunities at Fort Drum, NY.

Compensation up to $170 per hour-$326,000 per year!
Catalyst Professional Services is seeking Psychiatrists interested in advancing their career and serving our military service members at the same time.
The Behavioral Health specialists are responsible for diffusing emergent behavioral situations, assisting with the identification of soldiers who may show signs or symptoms of post traumatic stress disorder, mild traumatic brain injury and related conditions.
The Behavioral Health Specialists utilize all psychiatric and treatment modalities to include groups, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, pharmacotherapy, community psychiatry, and liaison psychiatry, and adequately diagnoses and treats a variety of mental disorders. Candidate will also serve on Medical Evaluation Boards. The MEB process is designed to provide a system for the evaluation of medical conditions suffered by service members that may disqualify them from military service. An estimate is that about 80% of service members undergoing such evaluation have a diagnosis of TBI (traumatic brain injury) or PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder).
We have Full-Time Openings at the following locations:
Guthrie Ambulatory Health Care Clinic located at Fort Drum, NY
Ireland Army Community Hospital located at Fort Knox, KY
There is up to 17 weeks of travel to additional military bases associated with these positions. Travel is usually in increments of 8 week periods.
There is no call associated with these positions.
Any state license accepted and malpractice protection provided at federal workplaces.
Providers shall be a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), must have completed an ACGME accredited residency in Psychiatry or be American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board-eligible or certified in Psychiatry.
Must maintain a valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration number.
Continuously employed in the practice of medicine or in training for the one year prior to the commencement of services under this contract
US Citizenship required.
