Telepsychiatrist - Physician - (Psychiatry - Telemedicine) Locum Tenens
Immediate need for a Tele-Psychiatry doctor in a correcitonal setting - MI License. FT, 2 mos, with possible extension. Provider can work from home after completing required orientation.
Telepsychiatry (locum tenens) is the practice of telemedicine in the field of psychiatry. For adults, telepsychiatry can help in cases where adults are not able to get to a hospital for service, live outside of rural areas, and are needing care for issues and/or disorders. Using technology, in telepsychiatry a psychiatrist will have a two-way video conferencing system to visit with the adult patient. This type of technology is becoming more readily used as the number of psychiatrists is limited in many areas.
