This client is actively seeking a Psychiatrist who is either Board Certified in Geriatrics or has experience treating Geriatric patients, to come serve as Medical Director for their Inpatient unit in Eastern Oklahoma. This Inpatient Geriatric unit is anticipated to open in June of 2016. This new unit will conveniently be located on the first floor right off the main lobby. As medical director you will oversee as well as treat all of the patients in this Inpatient unit. Once the ideal candidate is adjusted this client is looking to open an Outpatient practice as well. The hospital will be supplying this unit with mid-level coverage (1 PA& 1 PRN) as well as Hospitalist on site coverage. There is also minimal call associated with this opportunity. This would be an employed opportunity with a hospital that is offering above market rates, plus full benefits package.
