MedCare Staffing is seeking a PhD or PsyD for government compensation and pension evaluations.
32 hrs/wk. Psych evals for VA Comp & Pension evals. • See patients 17 yrs + • Performing Cognitive screenings • PSC and MMPI Testing • Evaluating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injuries • Electronic Charting/Reporting New requirments for psychologists: Must be PhD or PsyD. Cannot accept EdD Degree. Must be in Clinical, Counseling or School Psychology. Must have degree from APA accredited program at the time of graduation. If graduated from a program that became accredited later, will have to get additional info from the provider. If provider graduates from a program (ie. Counseling) that is not included in the school APA credit (ie. School of Clinical Psyc), we cannot contract with the provider. Stand-alone clinics, not on military base for physicians to perform compensation and pension, and pre-discharge examinations for local and regional Veterans -one-time only appointments – diagnosis only – no treatment.
MedCare Staffing pays the provider directly and provides malpractice insurance for this government position.
