POSITION: Tele-mental Health Psychiatrist
LOCATION:
Tele-psychiatry Hub
POSITION: Telemental Health Psychiatrist
LOCATION: Torrance, CA
COMPENSATION: $26,400 Per Month (Malpractice Provided)
START DATE: Mid- December 2015 if necessary to Jan 4, 2016
TERM: 40 hours a week for up to 6 months—in 90 periods of time as is usual and customary
WORK SCHEDULE: 9/80*, 4/40, 5/40*preferred schedule
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
• Spanish Speaking (Not a Requirement)
• ABPN Board Certification
• Psychosomatic Fellowship Completion Preferred not Required (ABPN Certified Desirable)
DUTIES:
• Provide tele-psychiatry services to resource challenged DMH clinics across the LA basin, Catalina Island, and dually diagnosed clients at the Acton Antelope Valley Rehabilitation Center (initial medication evaluations, ongoing medication management services, and/or brief follow-up psychiatric care)
• Provide Indirect Psychiatric Consultation to the social work staff associated with the DMH/DHS Collaboration Program*
• Provide Electronic Consultation directly to Primary Care Providers impaneled with LA Care
