Child Psychiatrist - (Psychiatry -Child) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Outpatient Child Psychiatrist is needed in Maryland for an opportunity starting immediately . The schedule is for 2 day a week for mid week coverage. Clinic hours are 8 am-5 pm, no weekends and no call. The physician will perform evaluations, consults and medication management. Child psychiatry (locum tenens) involves the diagnosis and treatment of feeling, thinking, and behavioral disorders affecting children, adolescents, and their families. Diagnostic assessments give attention to the physical, emotional, educational, cognitive, genetic, developmental, family, peer, and social aspects. An unified approach in child psychiatry, to effectively treat patients, may involve individual, group, or family psychotherapy, medication, and consultation with other physicians or professionals from schools, juvenile courts, social agencies, or other community organizations.
Required Qualifications
Active Maryland state license
Open to Board Certified or Board Eligible candidates
Preferred Qualifications
Experience treating children of all ages
