MUST have at least 3 years of nursing experience. NP and adolescent behavioral health experience is a plus!
Facility needs a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - NP - Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. Current New York State license and professional specialty organization certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is required. Current BCLS certification is required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Minimum of 3 years experience in nursing practice related to specialty is required; NP experience is preferred. Experience with adolescent behavioral health patients is strongly preferred
8-hour day shifts. Responsibilities will include individual, family, and group therapy, and medication management of adolescent patients in the program. S/he will also be in charge of the primary psychopharmacological care of a caseload of patients in the Adult Clinic. The NP will collaborate in the Partial Hospitalization Program with a Social Worker and Psychiatrists.
