Child Psychiatrist - (Psychiatry -Child) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Beautiful, new, psychiatric hospital in the greater Salt Lake City area is looking for a child psychiatrist. This facility is looking for a full time, child psychiatrist, licensed in the state of Utah, to start in May. The physician will be working on a small in patient unit, 40 hours per week, with a shared Call rotation. Client is interested in a child mental health physician that will make a commitment to the facility with the expectation to transition as a permanent employee. Child psychiatry (locum tenens) involves the diagnosis and treatment of feeling, thinking, and behavioral disorders affecting children, adolescents, and their families. Diagnostic assessments give attention to the physical, emotional, educational, cognitive, genetic, developmental, family, peer, and social aspects. An unified approach in child psychiatry, to effectively treat patients, may involve individual, group, or family psychotherapy, medication, and consultation with other physicians or professionals from schools, juvenile courts, social agencies, or other community organizations.
Required Qualifications
Candidate must have completed a child fellowship, and licensed to practice in the state of Utah. Physician must also be will to transition to perm employee.
