Child Psychiatrist - (Psychiatry -Child) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Are you looking for a very part time opportunity? A growing youth community mental health clinic is looking for a child psychiatrist for one day per week. The physician will see patients 10 years old to 21 years old, and will be responsible for medical management and evaluations. The facility provides a full clinical support staff, as well as administrative support staff. Provider can chose any day Monday through Friday, with a full 8 hours of work guaranteed. Child psychiatry (locum tenens) involves the diagnosis and treatment of feeling, thinking, and behavioral disorders affecting children, adolescents, and their families. Diagnostic assessments give attention to the physical, emotional, educational, cognitive, genetic, developmental, family, peer, and social aspects. An unified approach in child psychiatry, to effectively treat patients, may involve individual, group, or family psychotherapy, medication, and consultation with other physicians or professionals from schools, juvenile courts, social agencies, or other community organizations.
Required Qualifications
Candidate must be an Arizona licensed Child Psychiatrist.
