The Department of Psychiatry at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is actively recruiting highly motivated BE/BC Addiction Psychiatrists at all levels of experience to contribute to our aggressively growing program. This is an exciting time for us as we continue to build and expand the Department of Psychiatry both clinically and academically. Leadership opportunities may be available for qualified candidates with ambitions to build an academic division of Addiction Psychiatry, and resources are available to foster the development of promising research faculty.
Salary is highly competitive with bonus potential and an excellent benefits package. Candidates must have completed an accredited residency training program in Psychiatry, with fellowship training adequate for BE/BC in Addiction Psychiatry, and must either have or be eligible to obtain a license to practice medicine in the state of Ohio.
In 2011, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center received the UHC Quality Leadership Award. The award means that we are one of 10 academic medical centers in the nation delivering the highest quality care.
