Client seeks Podiatrist to join the staff of their growing multi-specialty community practice near Hartford. Clinic sees patients of all ages (newborn and up) for primary care, OB/GYN, podiatry, dental, optometry, and behavioral health. Podiatrist will provide primary podiatric care to patients on an outpatient basis, and will work with the entire medical staff to care for their patients. Physician will provide health education and arrange for referrals when necessary. Full-time position equals 40 hours within standard clinic hours of Monday through Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm, and Friday 7:00am-5:00pm. Provider can expect to see an average of 3-4 patients per hour. Call is required 6-8 weekends per year and 4 weeknights per month. Position requires completion of accredited Podiatry school, CT license and DEA certificate, BLS, excellent written and verbal skills, ability to listen, computer literacy, and experience working with the underserved population. Experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred. Client offers competitive salary plus full benefits package.
