Podiatrist-
Qualifications:
Have successfully completed a Podiatric residency approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical Educations (CPME) of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
Possess at least two (2) years experience (including surgical experience) within the last 24 months.

Provide 2 letters of recommendation written within the last two years attesting to the Health Care Worker's clinical skills. (1 letter from a physician,or nurse who has personally observed and evaluated teh Health Care Worker and who can attest to his/her clinical competence in the care of patients. The other letter from a clinic or hospital administrator, physician, or nurse whe has personal knowledge of Health Care Worker's patient care skills in a similar clinical environment.

Staffomg amd Scheduling:
Services shall be provided for approximately 40 hours per week, but shall not exceed 50 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 0700 and 1800. Each Health Care Worker shall be scheduled for an 8.5 to 11 hour shift to include an uncompensated 30 minute or 1 hour meal break. Services wil not be required on the day of observance of Federal Holidays.

Duties:
Provide appointment services within 30 min of the appointed time. When the daily schedule is not full, the Health Care Worker will provide services (during clinic times) for wal-in patients, dictation and completing medical boards, and other health care adminstrative duties.
Perform foot and mid foot recontructive surgery.
Systematically monitor effectiveness of practice through client database and outcomes evaluation. Synthesize and use the results of these evaluations to make or recommend changes including policy, procedure or protocol documentation.
Perform necessary adminstrative duties that include maintaining statistical records of clinical workload, participating in education programs, and participating in clinical staff quality assurance functions and Process Action Teams, as prescribed by the Commander.
