Your Talent. Our Vision. At CareMore, a proud member of the Anthem, Inc. family of companies specializing in providing senior Americans a complete and pro-active health care experience, it’s a powerful combination. It’s the foundation upon which we’re creating greater care for our members, greater value for our customers and greater health for our communities. Join us and together we will drive the future of health care.

This is an exceptional opportunity to do innovative work that means more to you and those we serve.

Podiatrist

Provides general and surgical podiatric care to patients at CareMore Care Centers, as well as contracted facilities for Touch Program. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Responsible for diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the foot. Podiatrist must coordinate with other clinical staff to achieve the best patient outcomes, and reduce the need for costly surgical procedures (i.e. amputation). Performs outpatient surgery when needed at contracted Podiatric/Orthopedic Surgical Center.

CareMore, a subsidiary of Anthem, is a medicare advantage health plan, but functions as an integrated health care delivery system . Each of our Care Centers staff internal medicine doctors (extensivists), nurse practitioners, Case managers, Social workers, and often certain specialists that work in conjunction with primary care physicians to help optimize clinical outcomes, as well as improve efficiency in the delivery of health care, particularly in patients with chronic illness such as DM, CHF, CKD, and COPD. The Touch Program is a specialized program where the focus is to deliver needed care to the bedside in a population of patients such as those living in assisted living or long term care facilities, and where coordination, and transportation to multiple providers offices can be extremely difficult.

We are looking for a podiatrist who is interested in a coordinated, and team approach to achieve excellent clinical outcomes, improved efficiency and reduced cost of health care. The position is full-time and benefits are included.
