Opportunity:
We are recruiting a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation for a unique opportunity to customize a rehab practice to their liking. Outpatient rehab clinic, with minimal inpatient duties unless desired. General musculoskeletal, neurologic, interventional, specialty programs can all be supported depending upon candidate’s areas of interest. Exceptionally strong medical community eager to support a growing outpatient physiatry program. As the incoming physiatrist, you'll develop an outpatient practice in a hospital's state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, with a thriving CARF accredited outpatient rehabilitation program across the hall. The rehabilitation facility provides physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy services. Program offers an orthopedic program, dysphagia clinic, lymphedema program, neuro rehab and day treatment programs, vestibular rehabilitation, hand therapy, women’s health and occupational rehab programs. This is a hospital employed position, joining another physiatrist with a primary inpatient/neurologic rehab interest. Hospital includes a 42-bed inpatient rehab unit, a 420 bed acute hospital with all specialties represented, and a dedicated clinic space within the outpatient rehab center.
