Looking for a Pain physician that would like to join a practice an about hour outside of Roanoke, VA. Looking for a Pain doc with an accredited Pain fellow; must have either anesthesia, or PM&R background. You will be working in a clinic doing a broad spectrum of cases that include surgical stim implants, managing intrathecal pumps, spinal injections and more. You will see about 25 to 30 patients a day. No hospital call, unless it is consults for groups patients. You will be employed with the group working at a clinic that is affiliated with the local hospital. You will have a base, plus production compensation model. They will also be offering plenty of extras such has sign on, relocation, stipend, student loan repayment and more. They pay mix is about 50% Medicare/Medicaid, about 30% Anthem/Blue Cross; Federal/State is below 1%. The community is a smaller town (with access to larger), but has a lot to offer. The town has many restaurants including, American (steak houses, down home, and Chains), as well as Latin, and Oriental cuisine. Beside the things to do in town and beautiful views, Roanoke is only about an hour drive away. They have plenty of school options as well for you with families, over 13 schools to choose from.
