Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation PMR - PHYSICIAN - for SO CAL Pain Mgmt

We have an opening for a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physiatry Physician to join our Interventional Pain Management practice. We are NOT interested in an interventional PMR or anesthesia based pain medicine doctor.

Our practice is located in beautiful Southern California, with a main office in Pomona, CA and satellite location in Norco, CA. You are literally in the middle of the Greater Los Angeles area. Downtown LA is 30 mins away. The beach and mountains are all 30-40 mins away.

You will be joining a busy solo practice, interventional pain anesthesiologist.

This position is 20-40 hrs a week. Salary will depend on experience with a bonus structure.

The position will be 100% office based, weekdays only, without any inpatient or calls. You will be responsible for the evaluation and management of chronic pain patients in the office, including work up for interventional pain procedures. You will NOT be performing the pain procedures yourself. You will have ample opportunity for office based procedures such as joint injections and trigger point injections. You will have ample opportunity to perform EMG/NCV testing. Your time will be spent either seeing chronic pain patients for follow-ups or evaluating new referrals.

We have a diverse patient population and our physician practices multi-modal pain management, utilizing medications, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and interventional pain procedures as needed. Although as a pain management practice, we often have to utilized opioid medications for pain control, we do not focus on this class of medications and utilize other medications and modalities to lessen the dosage and need for opioids.

Summary of the Position:
-This position is 20-40 hrs a week.
-Must have unrestricted California Medical License
-Must have unrestricted DEA license
-100% outpatient pain management
-No calls, no weekends, no holidays (i.e. "real banker's hours")
-Genuine location in the HEART of beautiful So. CAL (NOT "1 hr drive from SoCAL", like some other creative ads)
-No administrator or bean counter to look over you.
-Good salary with bonus structure
