Medical Center in Omaha, NE seeking a Physiatry Physician who can provide ongoing coverage. The shifts are 8 hours a day. Call Staff Care for more details.
Also known as physiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM R) (locum tenens) is a medical specialty that is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with physical or cognitive disabilities. A physiatrist is a physician who specializes in the treatment of functionally limiting conditions and is trained in managing and facilitating rehabilitation from neurological or musculoskeletal disorders. Ultimately a specialty concerned with quality of life, physiatrists work closely with patients to bring about a return of functional capacities.
