Pain physicians that are interested in opportunities in the state of Minnesota take notice. I have a hospital that is interested in adding another interventional pain specialist. There is currently one pain doc now, and with the growing demand of their catchment area they are looking to expand this department further. You will have office space in the hospital for clinicals, and then procedures will be scheduled through the OR on designated days. They do their best to only have pain cases scheduled that day due to level of patients seen. It should be a smooth procedure day. You will be doing everything from injections, to pumps and stims, blocks and more. You will be employed through the hospital, and the compensation model is open for negotiations. There a few different compensation model to choose from depending on your needs. You can choose a higher guarantee salary for the first year, or base plus production, or straight production. You will have a full benefits package to go with the compensation model that you choose. The community is located 2 hours outside of the Twin cities, and a short drive from Duluth.
