Job Description

Last Update: 7/14/15
Our pain mgmt is currently done by two anesthesiologists, and every patient to them needs interventional work. Our physiatrists feel that a pm&r doc trained in pain mgmt can better evaluate and treat each patient, and would not be looking for interventional work on every patient. This job would likely be a combination of interventional and non-interventional pain mgmt with some general pm&r mixed in. The new Physiatrist will be joining two existing Physiatrists in his/her practice. You can expect to be busy doing predominantly outpatient practice. Our primary need is for someone trained in Pain Management. Call will be shared equally with the other two Physiatrists, as well as an independent Physiatrist also working, and will be 1 in 4. The specifics of such will be discussed in detail at the time of an interview.
