ABOUT THE FACILITY
• Samaritan Medical Center, a 287 bed not-for-profit hospital located in Beautiful Northern New York, has an opportunity for a Physiatrist in a very successful 16 bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit.
• Samaritan is looking for someone passionate for inpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Samaritan is the sole hospital in Watertown with a catchment of 250,000.
• Samaritan Medical Center opened a new 61 million dollar hospital wing in November 2010. This includes new operating room suites, emergency department, a 10 bed intensive care unit/20-bed progressive care unit and a med/surg patient pavilion as well as a large parking garage.
• Samaritan Medical Center is an acute care hospital facility and serves as a regional referral center for Northern New York. The hospital provides a full array of medical, surgical and emergency care, including medical/surgical beds, critical care services, pediatrics, maternity, and a state-of-the-art emergency department. The hospital also provides inpatient mental health services.
