PM&R Medical Director Needed - Seeking an experienced residency - trained Physiatrist to practice within a large hospital affiliated multi - specialty group and work cooperatively with an established, independent physician group. The new physician will serve as Medical Director of the inpatient rehab unit and share inpatient call with community physiatrists. The outpatient practice includes procedures such as EMG, Baclofen pump management, trigger point and joint injections; Botox therapeutic, Acupuncture, IMEs. The regional leader in healthcare is a community - owned, not - for - profit organization operating 500 beds: Teaching opportunities are available with the Family Practice and Internal Medicine residents, Endocrinology, Geriatrics and Sports Medicine fellows, transitional year students, as well as 3rd and 4th year medical students on rotation from Upstate Medical University.
