Physiatrist - Physician - (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - PM&R) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

A physiatrist is needed for an outpatient rehab facility in the state of Washington. The job is Monday thru Friday from 8am to 5pm with no call.

Also known as physiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) (locum tenens) is a medical specialty that is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with physical or cognitive disabilities. A physiatrist is a physician who specializes in the treatment of functionally limiting conditions and is trained in managing and facilitating rehabilitation from neurological or musculoskeletal disorders. Ultimately a specialty concerned with quality of life, physiatrists work closely with patients to bring about a return of functional capacities.
