Opportunity:
As the incoming Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician, you’ll join the hospital's active medical staff as part of a large multi-specialty group with office space readily available for you. You’ll be covering acute rehabilitation units for two local hospitals, cover the development of the sports medicine program and complete diagnostic and treatment disorders related to nerves, muscles and bones.
Because physiatrists treat both acute or chronic illness, the position will support a number of the hospital's growth initiatives including spine navigation with emphasis on pre/post surgical, pain management, sports medicine, and may play a critical role as Medical Director of the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.
The ideal candidate will be board-certified (ABPMR) have at least 3 to 5 years experience with a fellowship in musculoskeletal or sports medicine being preferred.
Compensation:
