A growing private group has the need for a staff PM&R and for a PM&R physician to be a Leader:
* Join two established PM&Rs in a well respected and growing practice.
* Provide care to rehab patients in an inpatient setting.
* Although the position is mostly inpatient work based, there can be an opportunity for outpatient care and EMGs.
* Patients vary considerably; Orthopedic Trauma, Elective surgery, and Neurological conditions such as Stroke & Movement Disorders.
The leadership position includes medical and program Directorships.
The ideal candidate for the Leadership position:
* Understands and has interest in the development of progressive payment systems for rehab care.
* Is comfortable with use of and development of protocols and pathways for rehab care.
* Is proficient in Geriatric care, brain injury care, and post-operative Orthopedic management.
* Is a strong leader who understands how to work within private practice and hospital systems.
