Physiatrist - Physician - (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - PM&R) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Hospital in southeastern Idaho is seeking a Pain Management and Rehab physician for locums coverage. The community is known for its high quality of life and proximity to world-class outdoor recreation. Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8a - 5p. Coverage will be 7/1/15 - 9/30/15. Please reply with any availability.
Also known as physiatry, physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM R) (locum tenens) is a medical specialty that is concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of patients with physical or cognitive disabilities. A physiatrist is a physician who specializes in the treatment of functionally limiting conditions and is trained in managing and facilitating rehabilitation from neurological or musculoskeletal disorders. Ultimately a specialty concerned with quality of life, physiatrists work closely with patients to bring about a return of functional capacities.
