About this opportunity:
Specialty: Adult Inpatient Physiatrist with PM&R experience.
Dates: May 2014- Jan 2015
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8-5p with rotating weekly call.
Average number of inpatients per day: 15-22
Call Details: Light volume, 24 hr call alternated every other weekend between physiatrist. Internist handle call during the workday week.(Call Ratio, Shared/Solo, Calls in facility, Nights/weekends, etc.)EMR: 2 separate, Medi Tech & UDS (may be going to Epic now?)
Qualifications:
Prefer Board Certified, prefer TX licensed
Do you require Fellowship? Fellow in spinal cord injury or brain injury, neuro rehab experience, spinal cord experience, (new fellows okay)
About the facility:
Center for Rehabilitative Medicine: 53 patient beds (51 private), state-of –the art facilitiy, CARF accredited, 9,000 sq. ft. therapeutic gym, traumatic grain injury gym, transitional living apartment, dedicated secure brain injury unit. Therapies include Biodex Balance, Lite Gait, PUP, Community Re-entry, Wi-habilitation, Ambulation course. All inpatient, outpatient can be developed

100% adult practice
Number of beds: 53
Average daily census: Approx 30
They will consider locum to permanent placement.
Permanent Placement details: 1st year salary range $253,750 plus $10,000 SOB (base+bonus+RVU productivity)
