The Strong Center for Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) at Golisano Children’s Hospital, University of Rochester, is recruiting a Developmental-Behavioral or Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Pediatrician for an expanding academic and clinical program. This is an opportunity to join an established multidisciplinary team. Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor level applicants will be considered. SCDD is a federally designated University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) and the home of a Maternal and Child Health Bureau Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) interdisciplinary training program. SCDD also houses the Andrew J. Kirch Developmental Services Center, providing interdisciplinary diagnosis and treatment to over 3000 children and adolescents each year from a combined urban, suburban and rural referral population of 2 million. Funded research programs address Autism (an NIH-funded STAART Center), Down Syndrome, Prader-Willi Syndrome, methylmecury neurodevelopmental effects and health care delivery and coordination.
